The Nutrition of Celery Juice is Out of This World

Thanks to the Medical Medium, celery juice has been in the spotlight over the last couple years, and with good reason. The nutrition of celery juice is unparalleled. It has the ability to address SO many conditions and symptoms. Celery juice truly is a magical elixir. Its nutrients have the ability to alleviate symptoms like bloating, brain fog, rashes, anxiety, vertigo, tingles, hot flashes, migraines, and so much more! Drinking plain celery juice daily has the potential to completely change your health.

Celery juice’s amazing healing potential has become a bit of an inside joke between my mother and I. Every Time we talk about a symptom or condition of some kind, she says “let me guess, celery juice would help that” and we both laugh. But, it’s true! Celery juice has the ability to alleviate so many conditions that millions and millions of people are suffering from every single day. Illnesses like eczema, IBS, acid reflux, autoimmune conditions, Alzheimer’s, ADHD, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Lyme’s, Hashimoto Thyroiditis, Fibromyalgia can all improve greatly.

“What does celery juice do?”

“Does celery juice really work?”

You might be thinking, “yeah, but I’ve read reviews and people say they didn’t notice much or that it was a sham”. Honestly, those who briefly hopped on the bandwagon long enough to give it a quick review after trying it for a week probably don’t know what it’s like to truly suffer from chronic illness. They don’t fully grasp how life-changing this can be to many in need of serious help. So don’t let them dissuade you. While celery juice is a miracle, it still takes time to work its magic. Seven to ten days of it isn’t going to turn your health around. I highly suggest giving it a couple months of drinking it daily in the morning on an empty stomach to give it a fair chance. You will notice shifts along the way.

I’ve been drinking celery juice for 3 years now. It’s part of my daily regimen. I’ve really made so many changes that the Medical Medium suggests. So there’s no way to pinpoint what’s helped the most. It all works together. Always. We are holistic beings and as such, everything we do has an effect in conjunction with everything else we do and on everything else we do. 

Celery Juice Nutrients

I think most people think celery is just water and devoid of nutrition. This couldn’t be further from the truth. Celery juice contains undiscovered sodium cluster salts. These are a huge component as to why this elixir is so medicinal. These mineral salts are critical for the functioning of your body. They are exceptional at flushing out toxins from every nook and cranny in the body and keep your kidneys and adrenals functioning. These salts also elevate the levels of hydrochloric acid so your digestion is able to break down your food and assimilate the nutrients. Celery’s mineral salts also act as an antiseptic and work to break down viruses and bacteria they come in contact with – which then get flushed out. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

Because of celery juice’s sodium cluster salts, it’s also able to replenish electrolytes. These hydrate on a deep cellular level which ultimately ends up helping prevent migraines, anxiety, thick blood, and more. Even neurotransmitter chemicals get restored by these mineral salts. Can you believe it has the power to heal the brain? It’s incredible, isn’t it?!       

“How much celery juice should I drink in a day”?

Ideally, you want to get up to 16 ounces of celery juice every morning. Some people drink 32 ounces in a day. But 16 ounces in the morning is the minimum. If you are extra sensitive, there is probably a lot of toxicity that the celery juice will target. As a result you might feel discomfort when you drink it. If this happens, or if you suspect it might, start slowly with just a few ounces and work your way up to 16 ounces. It’s important to get 16 ounces in. As soon as the celery juice enters your mouth, some of the nutrients neutralize as it kills off bacteria in the mouth and then along the way down as it travels into your digestive system. Getting in the 16 ounces makes sure that there is still enough medicine present by the time it reaches your digestive system. 

“How long does celery juice last?”

One of the most common questions I hear is “how long does celery juice last”. The nutrition of celery juice loses its effectiveness within 24 hours. So ideally, you want to drink celery juice immediately. That means, do NOT buy it bottled. It will be way too old to get any benefits from it. You will of course see companies still trying to profit off of celery juice’s new found fame. That included celery juice powders. Those will not give us much benefit either. When we drink the fresh juice, it is filled with cluster salts that depreciate as it sits.

That said, if you absolutely cannot make it fresh and drink it right away. You can do it the night before and freeze it and then drink it the next day. It will lose some of its potency, but some is better than none.  

“Can I just eat celery?”

Eating celery is not going to give you the same benefits. While it’s still a healing food with the fiber, it doesn’t offer the same access to enzymes, sodium cluster salts, and electrolytes. The sodium cluster salts are only able to get to the brain when we consume it without the fiber (juiced). 

Drink it Plain 

Also, when I say, only drink celery juice plain, that’s what I mean. Don’t add lemon, apple cider vinegar, charcoal, other veggies or fruits, or anything. Only drink it unadulterated – by itself. If you absolutely hate the taste and need to work into it, try juicing an apple with it and slowly weaning off the apple until you’re just drinking plain celery juice.
